Peek A Boo Kitten with Neon Glow Effect

Every once in awhile I like to take one of my photographs and play around with it for 4-6 hours in Paint Shop and see all of the different variations I can come up with. Many just don’t work, and for the ones that do … they get posted here on the site.

I decided to do a few Paint Shop image effects on my Peek-A-Boo Kitten in Clover photograph ( see original photo here ). The effect I ran on this photo is called “neon glow”. I then added the black picture frame to it. I like the muted colors (almost blurry) and the very slight embossed look. Although I don’t really know why this is called “neon” ….

Peek A Boo Kitten with Colored Pencil Effect

It has been a while since I messed around in Paint Shop … so I decided to do a few Paint Shop image effects on my Peek-A-Boo Kitten in Clover photograph ( see original photo here ). The effect I ran on this photo is called “colored pencil”. I really like the speckled look and the incomplete colors. Reminds me of a quick pencil sketch on a very textured canvas or paper.

1839 Clover Flowers

I decided to do a few Paint Shop image effects on my Clover Flowers photograph ( original photo here ). For this one I first ran the “colored edges” effect, then I used the photo time machine and applied the 1839 photo style to the image.

Clover Flowers With Colored Edges

I decided to do a few Paint Shop image effects on my Clover Flowers photograph ( original photo here ). The above effect is just the simple “colored edges” effect. The one directly below is the same image except with a nice lavender frame applied.

Black and White Framed Clover Flowers

I decided to do a few Paint Shop image effects on my Clover Flowers photograph ( original photo here ). For this one I first ran the “colored edges” effect, then converted it to a black and white image, and finally put a picture frame around it.

The effects for the image directly below are about the same … I first ran the “colored edges” effect, then I ran the “Glowing edges” effect, and finally put a picture frame around it.
