We had a little excitement around the complex here today. Pictured above and below is a fallen 60 foot Eucalyptus Tree that took out a fence, a carport, and a motorcycle. I feel real bad for that motorcycle owner, but at least no one was injured as far as I know. I’m actually a little bummed out about the tree too … Eucalyptus trees are quite nice looking and it was definitely the largest tree around our apartment complex
California is experiencing its second large wind event in about two weeks with the wind gusts today reaching 50 to 60+ miles per hour. As you can imagine, there are plenty of branches, leaves, and some trees flying around out there. Certainly nothing like living through a hurricane, but it can still get wild at times.
