I followed this squirrel for a good 10 to 15 minutes … just waiting for him / her to stop running around for a minute. Finally got the shot here with the squirrel resting in a small grove of Redwood trees.
This picture was taken at the Big Basin Redwoods State Park. This park offers some very nice camping and hiking in the Northern / Central California Coastal Mountain Range. The park is west of San Jose and North-East of Santa Cruz.
