This new set contains 18 Rubber Stamps. The designs were created from old etchings, so the detail is amazing! There are 3 little garden girls that can be built into a variety of scenes with the tree, stone walls, gate, spade, flower pot and watering can. The sentiments will work well for friendship and birthday cards, stationary, notecards and garden keepsakes. The 2 poems read … “Friendship is the flower that blossoms in the heart” and “For your Birthday Garden these wishes are sent to express, the hope that every day will bring growing happiness!” Birthday, Wishes, Girl and Friend are all separate stamps. Artist / Crafter: Kimmi Lohman

This is another version of the “Friendship Flowers” greeting card that Kimmi in late May, 2009 !

The edges of the white cardstock have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mustard Seed yellow and small black flower heads were rubber stamped. From there beautiful stiped scrapbooking paper in vibrant Spring colors was added for the second layer. The beautiful pastel die cut flower petals ( 2 layers ) were attached with small black and white brads. The yellow flower in the middle was rubber stamped with a round Hero Arts rubber stamp.

Lots of color, activity and texture on this card !

Artist / Crafter: Kimmi Lohman

About a week ago kimmi said she was going to take a little break from crafts for a couple of weeks and just collect some ideas. Well, that lasted for a day or two before she created these beautiful cards.

She used the flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up set Nature’s Wonders which she inked in black and then stamped onto different colored cardstock. The squares were then cut out and applied to the greeting card. The finishing touch is the word ” friendship ” from the Stampin’ Up set Wonderful Words stamped in white across the front of the card.
