Eyes and Loops ATC from 2009

Kimmi made this ATC for me in April, 2009. This beautiful piece of art is all mine … so it is staying in the house. It’s not going anywhere. 
The foundation of this card is 140 lb. canvas paper that Kimmi handpainted with acrylics and then textured. I simply love the painting on this card as it looks just like petrified wood … browns, greys, and a small touch of pink and metallic bronze. From there the retro style image ( from art chix ) was added in addition to a recycled “love” postage stamp, a hand-torn heart, flowers, and a metal star. In the lower left section she also added some scraps that she “reclaimed” from a paper dollie.
The name “Eyes and Loops” comes from the tiny writing behind the scrap that covers the lady’s forehead.
