Christmas Greeting Card: 2005
Artist / Crafter: Kimmi Lohman
This was our Christmas greeting card that Kimmi made in 2005. We were determined to use a handmade card that year instead of purchasing boxes of cards from the local drug store. She made about 20 of them to mail out to all of our friends and relatives for Christmas.
She really had a lot of fun making these. I think it was because there were 6 individual stamped images to color … the snowman, angel, and the like. A little different from the collage style cards she had been making earlier in the year.
This was actually a very inexpensive card to make. The rubber stamps were small $0.50 – $0.99 stamps from a local craft store and the ribbon was also $0.99 for 3 yards. The word “Christmas” was stamped onto Parchment paper and then hand-torn.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment or question for the artist !
Enjoy,
Chris
