ATC: By The Sea (2009)

Kimmi handcrafted this wonderful ATC in April of 2009 in eager anticipation of the upcoming Spring and Summer.

The scan of the card is a little blured because of the raised ribbon and brad on the left side. I couldn’t really get a clean scan of the card.

The foundation of this card is 140 lb. canvas paper that Kimmi handpainted with acrylics and then textured. From there the retro style images and metallic stars were added in addition to the hand cut lettering. To the left side of the card is one layer of metallic “screen”, two layers of ribbon, and a gold mettalic star held in place with a flower brad.

What I want to know is … what happened to the rest of the mermaid ?
