Go Green with EcoFont
We don’t address “Going Green” or ECO topics too much around here unless it is related to an art or craft project … maybe something along the lines of using recycled items in our crafts … but I just had to share this with everyone.
There is a company in the Netherlands that have developed a new computer font called “Ecofont”. By using this new font when you print you will use up to 20% less ink. The font features small white holes in the letters while still maintaining readability of the printed page.
You can read all about this new font and download it ( for free ) at the Ecofont Web site.
Here on the Indie Showcase Blog you can go even greener by using Eco-Safe. This service will allow you to save blog posts to your email or in PDF form. You don’t need to print anything. We offer Eco-Safe on all posts and pages of this blog. Look for the “Eco Alternatives” button in the side bar and the “Eco-Safe” image on the bottom of our articles.
Enjoy,
Chris
